Tracy Scores Two Goals to Lead No. 1 Wake Forest to 4-1 Victory RALEIGH, N.C. - Marcus Tracy notched the fourth multi-goal game of his career and Austin da Luz added two assists to lead Wake Forest (12-0-0, 4-0-0 ACC) to a 4-1 victory over NC State (3-7-1, 0-4-0 ACC) on a cloudy and chilly Saturday evening. With the victory, Wake Forest improved to 4-0 in conference play for the first time in school history. The previous best start came in 2002, when the Deacons opened ACC play with a 3-0 record.
BC Men's Soccer, Iona Play To 1-1 Tie NEWTON, Mass. -- A pair of set plays generated one score for each team as Boston College and Iona played to a 1-1 non-conference tie before 204 fans at the Newton Campus Soccer Complex. BC freshman midfielder Conor Fitzpatrick scored his first career goal early in the second half and Iona junior forward Rodrigo Faria netted the equalizer in the 81st minute.
