Men’s Soccer Holds Off Florida Atlantic, 5-3 RALEIGH, N.C. – Behind four first half goals, the NC State men’s soccer team defeated Florida Atlantic, 5-3, Wednesday afternoon at the NC State Soccer Stadium. Junior Ronnie Bouemboue finished with one goal and two assists, while classmate Federico Nachmann had one goal and one assist on the day as they led five different Wolfpack scorers. The Pack started the games scoring in the eighth. Nachmann and Bouemboue played a quick one-two in the Owls penalty box, and Nachmann took one touch and slotted a shot into the net at the 7:27 mark. Schilawski Scores Twice as No. 1 Wake Defeats Elon 3-0 ELON, N.C. - Junior forward Zack Schilawski registered the fourth multi-goal game of his career and junior goalkeeper Akira Fitzgerald recorded his sixth shutout of the season as No. 1 Wake Forest (9-0-0, 2-0-0 ACC) defeated Elon (2-7-1, 1-0-0 Southern Conference) 3-0 on Wednesday night at Rhodes Stadium. The Deacons controlled the game from start to finish, out-shooting the Phoenix 21-5, including an 11-1 advantage in the first half. Wake had 10 shots on goal, compared to just three for Elon.
