The Hokies drop non-conference match to the Red Storm

QUEENS, N.Y. – The Virginia Tech Hokies (2-3-1) dropped a 3-0 non-conference match to No. 11 St. John’s (5-0-1) on Sunday night at Belson Soccer Field in Queens, N.Y. Junior Brendan Dunn made two saves in the match for the Hokies.

“We played well and executed our game plan,” said head coach Oliver Weiss. “Unfortunately, we made a few freshman mistakes and paid for them the hard way in the match.”
