Clemson Defeats Georgia State 3-2

CLEMSON, S.C. - Greg Eckhardt scored two goals and Eric Cava had two assists as Clemson scored three goals in the final 11:48 of the match to give the Tigers a 3-2 victory over Georgia State in a men's intercollegiate soccer match at Clemson, SC Monday night.

Michael Brooks scored the game winner with 4:13 left to go in the match. The Tigers scored three goals in a 7:35 time span.

No. 4 Men's Soccer Falls At Providence, 1-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Sophomore Nick Cianci scored in the 16th minute to lead the Providence College men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over fourth-ranked Boston College at Glay Field.

BC falls to 1-1, while the Friars improved to 2-0. It marked the second consecutive season in which the Friars defeated the Eagles. Last season, PC held off BC, 1-0, in Newton, Mass.
