TOWSON, Md. - Terrapin lacrosse team member Bill McGlone (Swarthmore, Pa.) and Team USA captured the Under-19 International Lacrosse Federation championship Saturday by defeating Canada 19-10 at Towson University.

Team USA finished the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record, posting victories over Canada, England, the Iroquois Nation and Australia to earn their fifth straight championship. The U.S. men are now 29-0 all-time in U-19 competition, dating back to the first world event in 1988 in Adelaide, Australia.

McGlone scored seven goals over the six games, including a hat trick against Australia on June 27.

The women's Team USA also captured the crown with a 21-8 victory over Australia in the International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations championship.
