DURHAM, N.C. - U.S. Lacrosse has announced its pool of players selected to try out for the 2002 U.S. Men's Lacrosse team, with 11 current and former Duke players invited to the camp.

The tryouts will be held from June 14-17 in Newark, Del., with 23 players being chosen to represent the U.S. at the International Lacrosse Federation World Championship in July, 2002 in Perth, Austrailia.

A total of 143 players have been invited to the camp.

Duke head coach Mike Pressler will serve as an assistant coach on the squad.

Former Blue Devils Palin Archer (1999), Matt Breslin (2001), Scott Bross (2001), T.J. Durnan (Class of 2000), John Fay (1998), Chris Hartofilis (2001), Hunter Henry (2001), Michael Keating (2001), Tim Knowles (1999) and Matt Oglesby (1995) along with rising junior Kevin Cassese have been chosen for the tryouts.

The U.S. is the defending ILF World Champion, having defeated Canada, 15-14, in 1998.
