CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Stephen McElduff, a senior co-captain of the University of North Carolina men's lacrosse team in 2005-06, was named Sunday as a third-team All-America selection by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. This is the third straight year that McElduff has earned All-America recognition by the USILA. McElduff started every game save one during his Tar Heel career as a close defenseman.

McElduff, a native of Yorktown, N.Y., was also a third-team All-America in 2005. He was a second-team All-America selection as a sophomore in 2004 when he helped lead North Carolina to the NCAA quarterfinals.
