COLLEGE PARK, Md.- In the quarterfinal round of the 2001 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships, No. 6 Towson leads No. 3 Maryland 5-4 after one quarter of play. After Maryland's Alex Poole scored the game's first goal at 13:51, Towson ripped off five-straight including three by Josh Tankersley. The Terrapins closed the quarter with three goals in the final 25 seconds including a pair by Dan LaMonica.
