No. 3 Maryland To Face No. 6 Princeton At 3 p.m. This Saturday; Game Will Be Televised
May 17, 2004 COLLEGE PARK, Md. - No. 3 seed Maryland will face No. 6 seed Princeton at 3 p.m., this Saturday, May 22, in the second NCAA quarterfinal game from Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Va. The game will follow the match-up between No. 1 Johns Hopkins and No. 8 North Carolina at Noon. Both games will be carried on more than 30 television stations nationally including Comcast SportsNet in the Mid-Atlantic region. The broadcasts will be distributed through ESPN Regional -- but will not air on ESPN. It will be the Terps' school-record seventh television broadcast this season. The games are also available to DirecTV & Dish Network subscribers with the "monthly sports pack" ESPN Syndication, in association with ESPN Regional Television, will produce and package these games. The games from Charlottesville will be called by Leif Elsmo and Charlie Lockwood. In the North Quarterfinal at Cornell, the first game will pit No. 2 Navy vs. host No. 7 Cornell at Noon followed by No. 4 Syracuse vs. No. 5 Georgetown at 3 p.m. These telecasts will be handled by Dave Ryan and Quint Kessenich.
