UNC Receives No. 8 Seed, Will Face Ohio State In First Round

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - The University of North Carolina received its first bid to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament since 1998 on Monday and will play host to Ohio State in the first round of the championship Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels are the No. 8 seed in the tournament and they will face a Buckeyes' team they defeated just this past Saturday 12-6 in the regular-season finale at Fetzer Field.

The gates at Fetzer Field will open this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.

The winner of the game between North Carolina (9-4) and Ohio State (12-3) will play a quarterfinal game the on Saturday, May 22 against either top-seeded Johns Hopkins or Providence in Charlottesville, Va.
