Pairings Set for the 2008 ACC Men's Lacrosse Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Pairings for the 2008 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship have been determined, as announced by the league office on April 12. Duke locked in the number one seed in the upcoming ACC two-day tournament, which will take place on the campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., after the second-ranked Blue Devils defeated third-ranked Virginia Saturday evening. Duke, which owns a 12-1 overall record and a perfect 3-0 league mark, will take on fourth-seeded North Carolina on Friday, April 25 at 5 p.m. ET in semifinal action of the annual ACC Tournament. Other opening action includes No. 2 seed Maryland and No. 3 seed Virginia, which serves as the host of the annual tournament. The Cavaliers and Terrapins will square off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Klockner Stadium.
