GREENSBORO, N.C. - Maryland's Jeff Reynolds and Virginia's Ben Rubeor share this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week accolade for the period ending on Sunday, March 23. Reynolds scored his first career hat trick in the Terrapins' 13-8 win at fourth-ranked North Carolina, while Rubeor collected his trio of goals in the Cavaliers' 13-12 overtime win over Johns Hopkins.

All three of Reynolds' goals were unassisted. His first score gave Maryland its first lead of the game at 3-2 at the 4:37 mark of the first quarter, while his second started a four-goal Terrapin run after the Tar Heels cut the lead to two at 7-5 to begin the third quarter. The redshirt junior's final goal was the fourth in that four-goal run and came while the Terps were a man-down. Reynolds also picked-up a team-high four groundballs in the Maryland victory. Reynolds ranks third on the team and leads all midfielders with 11 goals.

Rubeor scored a game-high three goals in Virginia's 13-12 overtime victory over reigning national champion Johns Hopkins Saturday before a Klöckner Stadium lacrosse record crowd of 7,579. The senior notched his first goal early in the contest to give Virginia a 1-0 lead. Following some back-and-forth scoring his second goal midway through the second period put his team ahead, 5-3. After the teams continued to trade goals the rest of the way, Rubeor's third and final goal of the day came with 57 seconds left and sent the game into overtime. Rubeor also helped his team's effort by scooping 4 ground balls, second most on the team.

Maryland finishes its regular season conference play Saturday, March 29, when it hosts second-ranked Virginia. That game is set for a 12 noon start at Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium and will be the first-ever regular season game on ESPN2.
