CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Attackman Tucker Radebaugh and midfielder Hanley Holcomb each scored four goals to lead fourth-ranked Virginia to a 15-6 men's lacrosse victory over 19th-ranked Massachusetts Saturday at the University Hall Turf Field.

Radebaugh's third goal staked the Cavaliers (3-1) to a 9-3 lead with 8:21 left in the third quarter. But Russ Kunkel and Jeremy Guski each scored for the Minutemen (2-2) to cut the margin to 9-5 five minutes later.

Radebaugh and Jason Hard ended the threat by scoring in the last 17 seconds of the period to ignite a 5-0 Virginia run that pushed the lead to 14-5 remaining in the game.

"I haven't been shooting very well lately, and I wanted to get some confidence," Radebaugh said. "I thought we moved the ball well in the first quarter and then they started to shut Conor (Gill) down and forced Drew (McKnight) and I to go to the goal."

Hard and David Jenkins led Virginia to a 17-8 advantage in faceoffs.

Kunkel and Guski each scored twice for Massachusetts.

The Cavaliers host Ohio State Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Klckner Stadium.
