Former Duke Standout Joe Ogilvie Wins The Reese's Cup Classic By Three Shots
July 14, 2003 Former Duke golf star Joe Ogilvie picked up his second tournament championship on the Nationwide Tour in 2003 by capturing the title at The Reese's Cup Classic held at the Hershey Golf Club in Hershey, Pa. The 1996 Duke graduate picked up $81,000 with the victory, and leads the tour with a yearly total of $315,177 in just 12 starts. Ogilvie also won at the Jacob's Creek Open in Adelaide, Australia to kick off the year.
In Hershey, Ogilvie fired a four-round total of 71-66-67-70=274 to win by three strokes over Paul Claxton and Wes Short.
