ATLANTA - For the second consecutive year, Georgia Tech golfers Roberto Castro and Kevin Larsen all have been named All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America, the organization announced Thursday.

Both players received their bachelor's degrees from Tech in May 5, Castro graduating with high honor in Industrial Engineering, and Larsen in Management. They also were named to the ACC's All-Academic golf team, while Castro made first-team CoSIDA Academic All-America this year.

Castro and Larsen are the seventh and eighth Tech golfers to earn this honor twice. Only juniors and seniors with a 3.2 minimum cumulative grade-point average are eligible to be a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar. In addition, athletes must obtain under a 76.0 stroke average.
