NORMAN, Okla. - The Golf Coaches Association of America announced its 2000-01 PING All-America teams following the NCAA Men's Golf Championships held in Durham. NC State seniors David Sanchez and Chris Mundorf each received All-America accolades. Sanchez was named to the third team, and Mundorf was an honorable mention selection. Sanchez, a 2001 All-ACC selection, posted a 72.3 stroke average in his final season with the Wolfpack. The Charlotte native ranks fifth in the school record books for lowest single-season stroke average. Mundorf is a two-time All-ACC selection from Greensboro. His season stroke average of 72.4 ranks sixth for lowest season stroke average. Mundorf ranks fifth in the Wolfpack record books with a career stroke average of 73.6.
