GREENSBORO, N.C. – Clemson junior Ben Martin, from Greenwood, S.C., has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Player of the Month for February. Martin was the top finisher among ACC players at the Puerto Rico Classic with a 206 score, his career best and best by a Clemson golfer this year. His consistent under par rounds of 71-69-66 tied him for an overall third place finish. The tournament was played on the par 72, 6,902 yard Rio Mar Country Club River Course in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, February 27-March 1.

The field included six of the top 15 teams in the nation. Other ACC teams participating in the event included Georgia Tech, NC State and Virginia Tech.
