Engler Ties for Third at BellSouth Yellow Pages Intercollegiate

CARY, N.C. - John Engler tied for third individually, pacing Clemson to a tie for fourth at the BellSouth Yellow Pages Intercollegiate. Engler shot a final round of 73 to finish at 215, or one-under par. The Tigers finished at 13-over after a final round of 292.

Duke and North Carolina tied for sixth place at 883, or 19-over par. NC State tied for eighth at 890, while Wake Forest shot a 10-over 298 in the final round of play to finish in a tie for 10th.

The tournament was contested on the 6,822-yard, par-72 course at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary, N.C.
