  • ACC Football crowned its Atlantic Division Champion over the weekend securing a matchup between Clemson and Georgia Tech in the 2009 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, December 5, on ESPN at 8 p.m. Heisman Trophy candidate C.J. Spiller and the high scoring Tiger offense look to avenge a 30-27 regular season loss in Week 2 against Jonathan Dwyer and the Yellow Jackets’ punishing ground attack.

Week 13 marks the end of the regular season and features a slate of rivalries that kicks off with two noon games as No. 24 North Carolina faces NC State on ESPN2 and Wake Forest meets Duke on RAYCOM. In the Battle for the Commonwealth Cup, No. 14 Virginia Tech invades Charlottesville to take on Virginia at 3:30 p.m. on ABC/ESPN and Boston College plays at Maryland on ESPNU at 3:30 p.m.

In non-conference, in-state rivalry action, Atlantic Division champion No. 18 Clemson looks to claim bragging rights over SEC rival South Carolina at noon on ESPN, Florida State looks to close out the season with a win over No. 1 Florida on CBS at 3:30 p.m., and No. 17 Miami takes on USF in Tampa on ABC/ESPN at 3:30 p.m. In a nationally televised primetime matchup, Coastal Division champion No. 7 Georgia Tech hopes to keep things rolling full steam ahead against Georgia on ABC/ESPN2 at 8 p.m.

After some key games in Week 12, the ACC stands as the only conference with five schools ranked in the Top 25 of the BCS standings. No. 7 Georgia Tech continues as the top one-loss school in the nation followed by No. 14 Virginia Tech, No. 17 Miami, No. 18 Clemson and No. 24 North Carolina.
