It didn't take long to turn the bell Carolina Blue again. Duke had beaten Clemson at home last Saturday.

Khalif Mitchell (94) takes another turn at ringing the bell. Carolina had 20 first downs to 11 for Duke.

Dawn Bunting applies some more paint to the bell. Duke falls to 2-9 overall, 1-7 in the ACC.

Coach Sanders' son, Payton, takes his turn. Duke picked up 53 yards on the ground and 181 through the air.

Injured tailback Jacque Lewis (20). Lewis was Carolina's biggest cheerleader on Saturday.

Coach Bunting acknowledges the fans in the west-side stands. Carolina had a balanced attack with 285 yards rushing and 201 yards passing.

Carolina improves to 6-5 overall, 5-3 in the ACC. The Tar Heels turned their season around after the rough trip to Utah.

Chad Scott (6) had another big day, picking up 144 yards on 26 carries for two TDs. Scott finished the regular season with 747 yards, the most by a Tar Heel since Jonathan Linton had 1,004 in 1997.

Matt Baker (7) was 3-5-0 for 27 yards in relief of Darian Durant (4).
