In Week 12, ACC Football picks up speed on The Road to Tampa Bay with an action packed slate of games. Heisman hopeful C.J. Spiller has No. 23 Clemson in the driver’s seat of the Atlantic Division. With a win over Virginia on ABC/ESPN at 3:30 p.m., the Tigers can punch their ticket to the 2009 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship game on Dec. 5.

Other conference action has Duke traveling to Land Shark Stadium to take on No. 20 Miami on ESPNU at noon, Maryland visiting Tallahassee to battle Florida State on RAYCOM at noon, North Carolina heading to Boston College to take on the Eagles on ESPN2 at noon and NC State invading Blacksburg to play No. 15 Virginia Tech on ESPNU at 3:30 p.m.

After some exciting Week 11 matchups, ACC Football crowned No. 7 Georgia Tech the Coastal Division champion and saw North Carolina become the sixth school to become bowl eligible. In this week’s BCS Standings the ACC landed four teams in the Top 25 with the Yellow Jackets leading the way at No. 7.
