COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced that Maryland's November 1st homecoming game against North Carolina will be played at Noon EST. The game will be televised by JP Sports.
The meeting will be the last between the Terrapins and Tar Heels for at least two years as the two schools are not currently scheduled to play in 2004 and 2005 due to ACC realignment. Maryland has won the last two meetings and trails in the series by a 35-29-1 margin. The Terps are 15-12 against UNC at Byrd.
The Tar Heels enter play this week with a 1-6 record and take on Clemson before heading to College Park.
