In the second highest scoring game in ACC football history, Wake Forest defeated Duke 54-48. Both teams produced huge numbers as Wake Forest racked up 500 total yards and Duke 487 total yards. Duke quarterback Sean Renfree was 28 of 44 for 358 yards and 4 TDs. WR Conner Vernon caught two of those TDs, covering 70 and 51 yards, but the Blue Devils efforts were not enough to break the 11-game win streak that Wake Forest held in the series.
