Aloha Sports Inc. has announced that tickets for the 2002 Seattle Bowl will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at 10 a.m.

Ticket prices for this year's game are as follows: $18, $42, $63, and $94. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Seahawks Stadium Ticket Window located at 800 Occidental Ave S. at the Northwest ticket office. Offices hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets can also be purchased online at ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster locations including select Fred Meyer, Wherehouse Music and Tower Records stores, or by calling 206-628-0888. The second annual Seattle Bowl will be held on Monday, December 30, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. EST and will be at the Seahawks Stadium.

In only its second year as a Bowl Game, The Seattle Bowl is building a foundation as a Northwest tradition that fans can celebrate for years to come as they enter the first of a five-year agreement with Seahawks Stadium as the host site of the event annually.

The Seattle Bowl offers a unique opportunity for fans to catch a world-class bowl game featuring the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Mountain West Conference (MWC). The ACC will be represented by one of the top five teams in their conference. The Mountain West will be represented by one of the top four teams in their conference.

The Seattle Bowl made its inaugural debut last year at Safeco Field pinning Georgia Tech against the Pac-10's own Stanford University, with Georgia Tech coming out on top 24-14 with more than 30,000 fans in attendance.
