GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the ACC's official website, theACC.com, will preview the 2012 ACC Football season with a special preseason countdown of each conference school entitled "Countdown to Kickoff."

The series will provide fans with a virtual preview of the league's 12 football programs. The Countdown to Kickoff begins Monday, August 13 with a first look at the Duke Blue Devils and will conclude on Friday, August 24 with the 2012 preseason favorite Florida State Seminole. In between, the other ACC teams will be featured individually, with teams unveiled based on their predicted order of finish, alternating divisions.

Each day will feature new, original content on each school's team, including updated bios, statistics, rosters and notes on the upcoming season from members of the ACC Bloggers Network. Video content produced by the ACC Digital Network will also be available.

Each ACC team will play for a spot in the 2012 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game on Dec. 1 at Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium. Televised in HD by ESPN, the ACC title game will have a primetime kickoff. For ticket information, visit www.ACCFootballCharlotte.com.
