Coach Grobe, his staff and several Demon Deacon football players hosted a record-crowd at the annual Wake Forest women's football clinic on Wednesday evening. While the weather kept them off the Groves Stadium field, participants enjoyed dinner, learned about the Wake Forest offensive and defensive schemes, and paid a visit to the home and visitor locker rooms.

Coach Brad Lambert, with assistance from linebacker Kellen Brantley, teaches the Deacon defense. Participants find gifts in the visitor's locker room. Academic counselor Hunter Willard fits into a locker!

Participants also paid a visit to the Wake Forest locker room (above and right). They even got to try on the helmet and shoulder pads.

Reporters from WGHP (above) and WXII (right) talked to some of the ladies about the clinic experience. Every participant received a certificate at the end of the evening.
