Charlottesville, Va. - The University of Virginia's football game against South Carolina on Sept. 6 is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.

The game, to be played at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C., will be televised by JP Sports as part of the Southeastern Conference television package.

Starting times for the Cavaliers' first three games of the season have now been established. Virginia opens the season at home on Aug. 30 against Duke with a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Following the game at South Carolina, Virginia travels to Western Michigan on Sept. 13 for a 2 p.m. clash vs. the Broncos in the first-ever meeting of the two schools.

Later in the season, UVa's homecoming game against Troy State on Oct. 25 is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.

Game times for Virginia's remaining games will be announced at a later time.
