COLLEGE PARK, Md. - On Tuesday, the Atlantic Coast Conference named what it considered the top 50 football players in the 50-year history of the league. Among those chosen was former Maryland and Dallas Cowboy great Randy White.

Though the league chose not to rank the players listed in the top 50, the Raleigh News & Observer chose to not only pick its own list, but to also rank each player. The newspaper ranked White as the top player in the history of the conference.
