Charlotte, NC - College football season can't get here soon enough. That is why Lincoln Financial Sports has announced that Aaron's Football Saturdays in the South will air its third season beginning July 15. The successful series has been expanded to six episodes in 2006.

As always, Aaron's Football Saturdays in the South will get fans ready for the upcoming season and go behind-the-scenes with the biggest names from yesterday and today. Some athletes featured in this summer's series include: George Rogers, Bill Cowher, Heath Shuler and Calvin Johnson. More will share their experiences and lives to their football supporters.

The themes included in this year's episodes are: "Game Day" a look at events leading up to each game, "Katrina" relief efforts and experiences of players, "Former Legends" of football which share their interests on and off the field, "Yesteryear Legends" share their commitments after a life of football, "Offensive Stars of Today" show how they're practicing for the new season, and "Defensive Stars of Today" carve out their passions of football and other sports interests off the field.

Kicking off the season will be host Tim Brando with assistance by reporters Dave Baker, Jenn Hildreth, and Mike Hogewood. All dates and times will be available at www.LFSports.com.
