CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - No single game tickets are available for Virginia's home football games this fall with Virginia Tech, Florida State and Georgia Tech.

"The response by our Virginia Student Aid Foundation members and season ticket holders, combined with our season ticket sale to this point and the ticket allotments for our opponents, has exhausted the supply of tickets for those three games," said Dick Mathias, UVa's assistant athletic director for ticket office management.

When the public sale of Virginia single game football tickets begins on July 5, tickets will be available for UVa's home games, held at the Carl Smith Center, home of David A. Harrison III Field at Scott Stadium. The Cavaliers host Wake Forest (Sept. 18), Duke (Oct. 9) and Buffalo (Nov. 13). Tickets for Virginia's five away football games this fall will also be on sale.

Approximately 750 season tickets remain for Virginia's 1999 home football schedule. The season tickets include all six of the Cavaliers' home games, including Virginia Tech (Oct. 2), Florida State (Oct. 30) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 6).

The Virginia athletic ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets can also be ordered by calling 804/924-8821 or 1-800-542-8821. The UVa athletic ticket office will be closed on July 2, but open on July 5.
