The University of North Carolina will travel to Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind., to square off against the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday, December 1, in the ACC-Big 10 Challenge.

The game is scheduled for a 9 p.m. tip and will be televised nationally on ESPN.

This is the fifth season of the ACC-Big 10 Challenge and the second time the Tar Heels and Hoosiers meet in the event. Indiana beat UNC, 86-76, in the Smith Center on Nov. 28, 2001.

The Tar Heels trail the all-time series, 4-7. This will be the fourth game played in Bloomington. Carolina won the most recent matchup, a 61-57 decision on Dec. 22, 1979. Indiana won previous games in Bloomington in 1962-63 and 1964-65.

Sean May, Carolina's leading rebounder last year, is a Bloomington native.
