Terp Basketball Highlight Film Earns Another Honor
May 12, 2000 COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The University of Maryland's 1999-2000 men's basketball highlight film received its second national honor in just the past month, garnering a 2000 Aegis Award. The video, titled "Seventh Heaven," featured highlights and interviews of the Terps' 25-10 season and the team's successful run to a seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. It was produced by Todd Ehrlich of T-Line TV, Inc., and narrated by Johnny Holliday, the radio voice of Terrapin basketball. It also received earned an "Award of Excellence" citation in the annual Videographer Awards competition.
The Aegis Awards recognize excellence in the video production industry and are based on a complex scoring formula grading the various elements of the production (shooting, editing, use of music, etc.).
