Miami's Larkin Leading Vote-Getter On All-ACC Defensive Team
March 11, 2013 LEWISVILLE, NC (ACSMA) - Miami’s Shane Larkin, who led the Hurricanes to their first outright ACC regular season championship, is the leading vote-getter for the ACC’s All-Defensive Team, as determined by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA). Larkin, whose 32 steals in ACC games leads the league, appeared on 46 of 77 ballots cast by ACSMA members. He’s joined on the team by Georgia Tech’s Daniel Miller (37 votes), who averages 6.7 rebounds per game and leads the ACC with 62 blocks. Also making the All-Defensive Team are: Miami’s Durand Scott (36 votes), who is tied for second in steals in ACC games; Maryland’s Alex Len (35 votes), who is third in overall blocked shots; and Virginia’s Jontel Evans (33 votes).
