Josh Howard, he 6-foot-6 senior, who led Wake Forest to its first outright league title since 1962, was a unanimous first-team selection. He received 92 votes by members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Joining Howard on the first team were Julius Hodge of North Carolina State, Steve Blake of Maryland, Dahntay Jones of Duke and Clemson's Edward Scott. Howard, Blake and Scott were third-team selections a season ago.

Others on the second team were Drew Nicholas of Maryland, Travis Watson of Virginia, Tim Pickett of Florida State and Wake Forest's Vytas Danelius.

Howard, Jones, Pickett and NC State's Clifford Crawford joined Bosh on the all-defensive team.
