How good are the Terps and do they have the players to go all the way in the NCAA Tournament?
Bobby Cremins
Absolutely, they are good enough to win it all. The key will be to peak at the right time and Chris Wilcox has got to maintain his high play. When Wilcox is great they definitely can win it all. They have all the other parts and an incredible backcourt.

Who do you think should be player of the year and what do you think about Anthony Grundy? shouldn't he be in the race for player of the year.
Bobby Cremins
I like my player of the year to come from the top team unless it is clear cut that one player was just extraordinary. Therefore either Juan Dixon or Jason Williams, whichever team finishes first. I feel that player should win the award. Anthony Grundy should be first-team All-ACC.

Hey Bobby, it's nice to still be seeing you after you retired from coaching. In your opinion who do you think will place third in the acc, NC State or Wake Forest? Also who do you think will go farther in the NCAA Tournament?
Bobby Cremins
It will come down to when they play each other in the last game of the year Saturday. I like the experience of Wake Forest, but Anthony Grundy could get hot and take NC State far also.

Do you think the Wake game was good for Maryland? They have not had a lot of close calls and can this help get them ready for the ACC and NCAA Tournaments?

Absolutely. I expected a little let down after the Duke performance. They almost got burnt. They almost fell asleep at the wheel. Hanging on was great for them. Playing at home I thought Maryland would have better control of that game, but you have to give Wake credit. I figured Maryland would have to have a little let down after the Duke game because they were so high that game.

Every game I have watched this season had one thing in common. Every announcer thinks that the possession arrow rule has to go. What are your thoughts?
Bobby Cremins
I always wanted to see the jump ball come back. I just felt it never would. I will ask Fred Barakat the next time I see him if the rule is coming back and I will answer your question in the future. I have always wanted to see the jump ball comeback, but it is also hard for the officials to toss it up correctly everytime.

How do you think Tech will do in the ACC Tourney? I want to see Tony make some noise before he gets out of school.

Tony has had a great senior year. I am really proud of him. This is what we hoped he could do when we recruited him. They are a very dangerous team. Their win at UVa was incredible. Paul Hewitt has them playing great basketball and they are playing at a high level and most important they have nothing to lose.

What do you think about Clemson's Ed Scott and why is he so underrated?
Bobby Cremins
He is having an absolutely incredible year. I think the reason he is underrated is because his team is not in the top echelon of the ACC, but he will be a preseason first-team All-ACC next year.

One of your former players, Kyle Perry, is a GA at Tennessee Tech. Coach Lebo's team has had a great year and is poised to make a run at the conference title and an NCAA bid. Have you had a chance to watch them play and do you think this is a prelude of things to come for Kyle's coaching career?
Bobby Cremins
I have not seen them play. I have spoken to Kyle Perry a couple of times. He loves working for Coach Lebo. He feels like they have a chance to get an NCAA bid. Jeff Lebo will be on a lot of AD's short list for new job openings. Kyle will gain a lot of good experience working for Jeff Lebo.

Bobby, Having played many games in Cole, what do you think about the arena? What are your favorite memories of the building?
Bobby Cremins
Great place, but a smart move by Maryland to build a new place. It is a great place, but it was getting very old looking. For Maryland to continue what Gary Williams is doing, I felt it was imperative that they built a new place. They have a good thing going there and the new place will be sensational.

With the ACC Tourney coming quickly, I know you must be excited! What advice would you give the Demon Deacons as they prepare for March Madness?
Bobby Cremins
It is very important that Josh Howard gets healthy. They are a very dangerous team. They were disappointed in last year's first round performance and I am sure they really want to improve themselves this year.

I believe somebody from NC State's team will get it.
