Charlotte, NC: The ACC Digital Network brought to you by Ruby Tuesday, announces the launch of Dunkuary, a month-long competition with the goal of mobilizing fans from the 12 ACC schools to vote in order to determine the best dunk in the ACC’s 60-year history.

Beginning today at noon ET, during the ACC Digital Network’s live daily show, ACC Live, a pair of #dunkuary nominees will be unveiled. Today’s nominees will be from Boston College, with a different team revealed each weekday in alphabetical order by school. Fans may vote for their favorite dunk in the following ways:

1. Tweet #dunkuary and #[Player Name]
2. Like your favorite dunk on www.youtube.com/accdn
3. Like your favorite dunk on www.facebook.com/theacc

On Wednesday, February 27th at noon ET the ACC Digital Network will feature a special edition of ACC Live with a Dunkuary Selection and Bracket Announcement show. The Dunkuary Bracket will feature the winning dunk from each ACC school with four wildcards chosen by the one-man selection committee, the host of the ACC Digital Network, Jeff Fischel. From then and through Monday, March 11th, fans will vote through each round of Dunkuary culminating on the final voting competition which will ultimately determine the best dunk in ACC History, as chosen by the fans.

I want fans to tweet me directly @JeffFischel to argue for a dunk and persuade me to pick the one they want. I’ll tweet back. I want a fierce but friendly debate between fans for those last spots. And I, in my infinite wisdom, will decide them.”
