RALEIGH, N.C. - Marquette's Dominic James hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with 0.4 seconds remaining on the clock to give the No. 23 Golden Eagles a 68-65 victory over NC State Monday night at the RBC Center.

NC State senior Ben McCauley answered with a shot from the top of the key after a three-quarters-court inbounds pass, but officials determined after watching a television replay that the shot went in after the buzzer went off.
