BC Men's Basketball Defeats USC Upstate, 67-55 CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior Tyler Roche came off the bench to register five three-pointers and a career-high 17 points to lead Boston College to a 67-55 non-league win over USC Upstate before 3,881 fans in Conte Forum. Joining Roche in double digits were sophomores Joe Trapani (16 points), Corey Raji (13 points) and Josh Southern (10). Raji also grabbed 12 rebounds to record his first career point-rebound double-double. McClinton Leads Hurricanes Past Robert Morris, 70-62 CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - Jack McClinton scored a game-high 24 points to lead four Miami players in double figures as the Hurricanes beat Robert Morris 70-62 on Sunday. Dwayne Collins and James Dews scored 11 apiece, and Lance Hurdle chipped in 10 for the Hurricanes (7-2) as four Hurricanes scored in double figures for the fourth time this season. McClinton also grabbed a career- and game-high nine rebounds and he posted his third game of the season and 24th of his career with 20-plus points. Allen's big game lifts Hokies over Longwood Jeff Allen had a monster game and the Virginia Tech men's basketball team used a big run late in the second half to put away Longwood, downing the Lancers 79-57 in a non-conference game played Sunday afternoon at Cassell Coliseum. With the win, Tech moved to 6-4 overall on the season. Longwood, which saw its two-game winning streak come to an end, fell to 5-5. No. 11 Wake Forest Remains Undefeated, Beats Wright State 66-53 WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.(AP) - Harvey Hale had a season-high 17 points to help No. 11 Wake Forest beat Wright State 66-53 on Sunday. L.D. Georgia Tech Men's Basketball Falls To Illinois-Chicago, 66-60 Atlanta, GA (AP) -Scott Vandermeer scored 17 of his 19 points in the second half and Josh Mayo added 11 of his 17 points in the closing minutes to lead Illinois-Chicago to a 66-60 win over Georgia Tech on Sunday. Jeremy Buttell hit a 3-point basket with 42 seconds left to break a tie and give Illinois-Chicago a 60-57 lead, helping the Flames (6-2) to their fifth straight win.
