Maryland Men's Basketball Posts Dominating Win Over Delaware State
Landon Milbourne scored a career-high 23 points, and three other Maryland players reached double figures Friday night in an 86-58 rout of Delaware State.

The Terrapins (7-2) never trailed in their third straight victory. Maryland is 5-0 at home and 58-4 in non-conference home games since the start of the 2002 season.

Up by 19 at halftime, the Terps opened the second half with a 7-0 run to make it 47-21. Eric Hayes led the charge, sinking a pair of 3-pointers around a free throw by Adrian Bowie.

Hurricanes Open Homestand With Victory Over FIU 76-50
James Dews had 15 points, Jack McClinton scored 12 and Miami routed crosstown foe Florida International 76-50 on Friday night.

Eddie Rios added 10 points, and Lance Hurdle had eight points as the Hurricanes improved to 12-1 in their series against Florida International.

Michael Dominguez had 15 points and six rebounds for the Golden Panthers, who had a few hundred fans make the short drive only to be quieted by the orange-and-green clad Hurricanes home crowd.

Hobbled by injuries to all five starters, Florida International (4-6) was outmanned and overmatched by Miami. The Hurricanes (6-2) kept the pressure on, wearing down the Golden Panthers with an up-tempo style and holding the Golden Panthers to 30 percent shooting from the floor (16 of 53).
