Tigers Blast Terriers 93-40

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Terrence Oglesby scored 15 points and Raymond Sykes added 14 to lead Clemson to a dominating 93-40 victory over Wofford on Wednesday night.

The Tigers (4-0) outscored Wofford 51-17 in the second half after leading 42-23 at halftime. It was Clemson's eighth-straight victory over its in-state foe.

Cavaliers Defeat USF 77-75

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Sylven Landesberg nailed a layup with 13 seconds left and sank a free throw six seconds later to seal Virginia's 77-75 victory over USF on Wednesday night.

Landesberg finished with 21 points for the Cavaliers (2-0), and Jamil Tucker added a career-high 15 points and a team-high seven rebounds in the win. Tucker also went 2-for-3 from behind the arc.

Demon Deacons Light Up Scoreboard In Rout Of Seahawks

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Jeff Teague scored a career-high 31 points, James Johnson added 25 and Wake Forest (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today, No. 20 AP) beat North Carolina-Wilmington 120-88 on Wednesday night.

Chas McFarland had 19 points for the Demon Deacons (2-0), who led almost the entire way in a game that featured plenty of transition buckets and quick shots for both teams. Wake Forest shot 57 percent and scored 41 points off 24 turnovers to improve to 11-0 all-time in the series.
