Sanders' Jumper Lifts Boston College Past Yellow Jackets
Sophomore swingman Rakim Sanders scored a game-high 19 points, including the game-winning baseline jump shot with 1.7 seconds left, to lift Boston College to a 67-66 ACC win over Georgia Tech before a sellout crowd of 8,606 fans in Conte Forum. The game marked the final regular-season contest for both schools.

Sanders' decisive hoop capped a stretch of six lead changes in the game's final three minutes. Georgia Tech had gained a 66-65 lead on two free throws by Lewis Clinch with 12.4 seconds to play.

BC claimed a four-point lead - 61-57 - on a Reggie Jackson put-back dunk with 3:49 remaining in the contest. The visiting Yellow Jackets then scored five straight points - on three Iman Shumpert free throws and an Alade Aminu field goal - to gain a 62-61 advantage with 2:15 left.

Miami Closes Regular-Season with 72-64 Win Over NC State
Jack McClinton overcame a slow start to score 24 points Saturday, and the Miami Hurricanes held North Carolina State without a field goal for more than 12 minutes in the second half and won 72-64.

McClinton missed his first seven shots before sinking a 3-pointer early in the second half. He finished 3-for-15 from the field but was 16-for-16 from the line -- the best performance from the line in school history.

Seniors Lance Hurdle and Brian Asbury -- also making their final home appearance as Hurricanes along with McClinton and Jimmy Graham -- finished with 13 points apiece. Graham added a game-high three blocks, three steals, six points and six rebounds.

Diane Lifts Cavaliers Over Terps on Senior Day
Mamadi Diane hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 39 seconds remaining to give Virginia a 68-63 victory over Maryland on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Diane, who had been relegated to the bench for much of the season, finished with 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc. He nailed what would be the game-winning 3-pointer with the game tied at 61 and the shot clock running down.

Virginia hit four free throws in the final 11 seconds to seal the win.
