Singler Leads No. 10 Duke Past No. 21 Georgia Tech, 86-67 That pesky wrist injury certainly couldn't slow the Duke star. Georgia Tech's defense didn't stand a chance, either. Singler had career highs of 30 points and eight 3-pointers to lead the 10th-ranked Blue Devils past the 21st-ranked Yellow Jackets 86-67 on Thursday night. Hokies stay perfect at home with victory over North Carolina The victory moved Tech to 17-4 overall and 4-3 in the ACC. The Hokies moved to 11-0 at Cassell Coliseum and avenged a 78-64 loss to the Tar Heels earlier this season. In fact, Tech snapped a five-game losing streak to UNC. The Tar Heels (13-9, 2-5 ACC) led 43-42 following a John Henson basket with 15:20 left in the game, but Tech retook the lead on a Delaney bucket 27 seconds later and never trailed again. Maryland Fights Off Florida State, 71-67 Maryland (15-6, 5-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) led by as many as nine points in the second half, but FSU (16-5, 4-4 ACC) tied the game twice in the final 3 minutes and had the ball with 38 seconds left, trailing 66-64. Freshman Michael Snaer drove to the hoop and made a runner but was called for charging with 14.5 seconds left.
