ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech is ranked 21st in the final Baseball Weekly/ESPN coaches' poll, marking the ninth time in the last 11 years that the Yellow Jackets have been ranked among the nation's top 25 teams.

Tech finished the season with a 41-20 record and earned a spot in the NCAA Baseball Regionals for the 16th time in the last 17 years. The Yellow Jackets established a new school record with a .347 team batting average, and a Tech record nine players were selected in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft.

Four Yellow Jackets -- shortstop Richard Lewis, catcher Bryan Prince, outfielder Jason Basil and pitcher Steve Kelly -- were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference team, while outfielder Matt Murton and pitcher Kyle Bakker were both tabbed as second-team Freshman All-Americans.

The final Baseball Weekly/ESPN Top 25 College Coaches Poll as selected by 41 Division I head baseball coaches representing the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
