ACC Baseball Players Selected In The Major League Draft

Georgia Tech's Mark Teixeira headed up the list of ACC baseball players selected in the 2001 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Tuesday. Teixeira was the fifth overall pick of the Texas Rangers. In all, the Yellow Jackets had nine players selected. Clemson had six players selected while Wake Forest had four picks.
