Game 7: #1 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets vs. #8 Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Comment from Wake Forest Head Coach Rick Rembielak:
I was very proud of the way we ended up playing. Against some adversity where we gave up a big lead, we did not make some plays behind Brian (Bach), but we hung in there and kept battling and I'm very proud of Brian (Bach) and his performance. It could have gotten away from him more than it did. He kept his composure; you expect that out of a senior and he did that.

Comment from Georgia Tech Head Coach Danny Hall:
I am definitely happy that we came back and won. I think we were fortunate to win. I didn't think we played as good as we needed to play. We didn't pitch particularly well and didn't play defense like we have been playing. We gave them some runs on the board early, but to our credit, I think we did bounce back. We had the big inning to get back in it. I thought that (Jordan) Crews coming into the game and getting some big outs for us and putting some zeros up there gave us a shot at it. I thought (Tim) Gustafson did his job and that (Matt) Weiters really got a big out there on (Ryder) Mathias in the ninth (inning). I'm happy we won and happy to still be in the winner's bracket.
