Clemson's Doug Kingsmore Stadium was rated as the 16th-best college baseball ballpark in the country by Baseball America in a recent vote of 60 coaches from around the nation. The vote did not take into account the stadium's ongoing renovations, which are scheduled to be completed by the season home opener on February 26. Clemson, ranked as high as #15 in the coaches' preseason poll, will open the 2003 season at #21 Auburn on February 21. Auburn's Hitchcock Field was voted the top ballpark in the nation.
