Wake Forest head coach Rick Rembielak

Opening statement
I think Clemson showed the type of ball club that they are, that they've been all year. The thing that they do is when they get guys in scoring position they don't panic, they execute and they get the job done. They raise their game a level when there are runners in scoring position. There's nothing that I could end up saying good about our ball club. There wasn't anything good tonight at any phase. It was all Clemson tonight.

On not wanting to face Clemson again tomorrow
Obviously they're playing well. At this point for us, we've got to start playing better. We're just not playing well. Facing those guys, last weekend and now, is not a good last week or so for us. I'm more concerned certainly by the way we're playing at this point, not necessarily who we're going to play.

On what Clemson has done the last four games against Wake Forest
What they do is they slow the game down offensively. They see the ball well. They've got a veteran ball club, and I think they're very mature in their approach and they understand the game very well. And that's something that we don't do. We're young and we're not playing the game the way it should be. What they do is they kind of slow everything down. When they swing a bat, they swing it with a purpose. It's not just swinging for the sake of making contact, they know where the holes are, and they end up picking those holes apart. They did it all weekend last week

Clemson head coach Jack Leggett

Good ball game. I thought P.J. Zocchi pitched extremely well. We got our offense going and put a lot of pressure on them and we were able to run the bases pretty aggressively and got some big hits early and our defense was very good tonight when we had to play good defense. Just a total game, front and back, all the way around.

On tomorrow's game against Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech is a very good team and a very tough team. They played us very well last time and outplayed us down in Atlanta so it's going to be a great challenge for us to hang with them. We're going to have to play a perfect game - play real good defense, get some great pitching and were going to have to do a good job of figuring out their left hander (Lee Hyde). He did a pretty good job against us last time so it will be a good challenge for our hitters and a good challenge for our team.
