WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The NC State's men's cross country team won its third consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference title today, as the Wolfpack posted a score of 48 points at the 2003 ACC Men's Cross Country Championship in Winston-Salem, N.C. With the win, the Pack has won eight of the last nine men's conference championships.

NC State was followed by Florida State, who placed second with 104 points. Virginia was third with 116 points, while Clemson finished fourth with 130 points. Wake Forest finished with 139 points, finishing fifth in the race and was followed by Georgia Tech (6th - 156), Maryland (7th - 161), North Carolina (8th - 183) and Duke (9th - 206).

NC State had five of the top ten finishers in the race and was led by the 2003 ACC Individual Champion Andy Smith, who covered the 8K course in 24:13.1. A complete listing of the top ten finishers is listed below.
