NC State Claims 2004 ACC Men's Cross Country Title

Men's Results COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The NC State men's cross country team won its fourth straight Atlantic Coast Conference cross country crown today, as the Wolfpack recorded 47 points at the 2004 ACC Men's Cross Country Championship in College Park, Md. NC State edged Florida State, who scored 48 points, by one point, the narrowest margin of victory in conference championship history. Virginia placed third with 85 points, while Clemson finished fourth with 87 points. Duke placed fifth with 99 points and was followed by Wake Forest (6th - 172), Maryland (7th - 198), Georgia Tech (8th - 227), Virginia Tech (9th - 249), North Carolina (10th - 295) and Miami (11th - 313). Florida State's Andrew Lemoncello became the first Seminole to earn the title of ACC Individual Champion, having covered the 8K course in 24:29.6.
