![]() Clemson's Matt Clark, Florida State's Susan Kuijken, and North Carolina's Brie Felnagle Earn Performer of the Week Honors.
Oct. 16, 2007 GREENSBORO, N.C. - Clemson's Matt Clark was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week while Florida State's Susan Kuijken and North Carolina's Brie Felnagle share this week's Women's Performer of the Week honors. In earning the award for the first time this season and third time in his career, Clark set a personal best finishing the 8K course in 23:37. The Hyannis, Ma., senior finished 14th in the Blue Division race at NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind., the best-ever finish at the Pre-Nationals for a Clemson runner.
Kuijken stayed undefeated this season by winning her third race of the year at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind. The Nijmejor, Netherlands, sophomore won the 6K Blue Division race with a personal-best time of 19:56, the second-fastest 6K time in school history leading the Seminoles to a second-place team finish in the Blue Division. Felnagle finished second in the White Division 6K race with a time of 19:57. A returning All-America, the Tacoma, Wash., junior paced the Tar Heels to a 12th place finish in the White Division. 2007 ACC Performers of the Week Men's: Women's:
